Application Process
Teaching
Teachers Wanted!!!
We are currently teaching lessons at Whitworth-Buchanan Middle School during the band period. Other middle schools have also expressed an interest. We are looking for volunteer teachers in all instruments and voice. The commitment for teachers is 1 hr per week with 1-3 students per half hour lesson. Lessons will be taught at the middle school during school hours, but we also hope to find a place to provide evening lessons at some point. All volunteers will be subject to a background check each school year conducted and paid for by the Rutherford County School system.
